Terms & Conditions

  1. WinterKids is providing only Maine 5th, 6th, and 7th graders with a WinterKids Passport. The Passport is non-transferable and entitles the student to whom it is issued (Holder) a children's one-day ticket, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, at each of the participating Maine areas during the 2010-2011 season. All participating areas reserve the right to withdraw from the program at any time, and all Passport offers are subject to availability.

  2. The Passport may be used to obtain no more than three one-day tickets for 5th graders, two for 6th graders, and one for 7th graders per season at each area.

  3. The Passport or tickets obtained with the Passport may not be transferred or sold to any other person, including family members. WinterKids will immediately revoke Passport if Holder transfers use of Passport or any ticket obtained with Passport to another person.

  4. The Passport may be used by the Holder only when accompanied by a paying adult unless otherwise specified, with the exception of handicapped 5th, 6th and 7th graders, as determined by participating areas. A maximum of two Passport Holders per each paying adult may obtain tickets using the Passport, with the exception of Seacoast Snow Park.

  5. WinterKids will revoke and cancel a Passport without notice for any misuse. Holders and their parents or legal guardians are responsible for proper use of the Passport at all times. In the event of Passport misuse and cancellation, WinterKids may recover damages to WinterKids and/or participating areas arising from Passport misuse, including reasonable attorney fees.

  6. WinterKids reserves the right to modify or cancel the Program and all valid Passports at any time without notice. WinterKids is not responsible for expenses incurred or opportunities forgone by cancellation or modification of the Program.

  7. If a Passport is lost or stolen, notify WinterKids immediately. Participating areas will not replace or assist with lost or stolen Passports. WinterKids reserves the right to make case-by-case determinations concerning replacement of Passports.

  8. All Passport Holders agree to comply with all rules and regulations of participating areas and with all other applicable laws and regulations, including Maine inherent risk of skiing statutes.

  9. All information in the application is subject to verification by WinterKids. All information in this application becomes the property of WinterKids and may be used by WinterKids and others, except for your e-mail address, which will not be sold or given to anyone.

  10. Passport is not valid without a photo placed on the inside front cover.

We fully understand the terms of this WinterKids Passport Agreement and agree to comply with all the rules set forth above. We understand that any misuse of the Passport or ticket obtained with the Passport will result in revocation of the Passport. We understand that WinterKids will use our email address to send occasional emails to us, but will not sell or give our email address to anyone. By acceptance of the Passport, we agree that WinterKids, participating areas, Passport program partners, sponsors, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, or agents have no liability whatsoever for injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the Passport program or resulting from application for, acceptance, possession, or use of the Passport.
