Winthrop Area YMCA
Mission: Winthrop Area YMCA provides community programs that promote spiritual, mental, and physical growth, with respect for the worth and dignity of all people. The Winthrop District Area YMCA and the Maine Youth & Government programs are integral in our outreach and continued development of community and leadership. Winthrop Plays Outside is a Winthrop Town Office program that aims to provide outdoor recreation and education to increase overall physical fitness, physical movement, health, and well-being to support a healthier community.
