WinterKids is the only nonprofit in Maine dedicated exclusively to increasing outdoor physical activity in children and families during our longest, most sedentary season.
We help children develop healthy lifelong habits through education and fun outdoor winter activities, creating opportunities for children to be active, vibrant, and healthy outdoors.

Can I donate items for the silent or live auction?
Absolutely! We greatly appreciate donations for our auctions. If you have an item or experience you’d like to contribute, please fill out the donation form on our website or contact events@winterkids.org.
What types of items are you looking for?
We accept a wide range of items, including but not limited to gift certificates, food & beverage, experiences, outdoor sporting goods/gear, artwork, electronics, and luxury items. Unique and high-value donations are always popular with our bidders.
Is there a dress code for the live event?
The dress code for our fundraising celebration is flexible and fun. We encourage attendees to show off their WinterKids garb from past events &/or dress up for a night out on the town. Dress as you wish in an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and festive.
Is parking available at the live event?
Yes, there is ample parking behind the venue, free of charge. Please refer to the map below and look for our parking signs when you arrive.
How can I purchase tickets for the live fundraising celebration?

Can I buy tickets for multiple people?
Absolutely! During the ticket purchase process, you’ll have the option to purchase tickets for yourself and additional guests by selecting the quantity field. You’ll be required to enter each guest’s name and email address, so please make sure to provide their accurate information to ensure smooth entry to the event.
Can I donate items for the silent or live auction?

Are my donations tax deductible?
Winterkids Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and all donations are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.
Ticket and auction item purchases are NOT considered donations and are not tax-deductible.
If you make a donation, either online or at our live event, we will send an official receipt to your email address. If you do not receive one, please reach out to events@winterkids.org. You’ll need your receipt to claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes.
