WinterKids is thrilled to announce the selection of Maine schools to participate in the highly anticipated 2025 WinterKids Winter Games.

The application window for the 2025 WinterKids Winter Games is now open! Sixteen schools will be selected to participate in this 4-week fun-filled competition, running from January 13 – February 7, 2025. The Winter Games encourage students in grades Pre-K through 8 to embrace outdoor winter activity, build teamwork, and foster a love of winter.

We are elated to announce the appointment of Courtney Holub as the new WinterKids Executive Director. Courtney brings over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on creating opportunities for diverse populations. Her extensive career has encompassed philanthropy, program development, leadership, and impactful board positions.

WinterKids is announcing the resignation of its Executive Director, Julie Mulkern. Since 2011, Mulkern has been at the helm of WinterKids, leading the organization’s growth financially, programmatically, and geographically.
