“We had a wonderful first week of WinterKids Winter Games, despite the lack of snow (and very cold temperatures on Friday). School attendance was up from the previous week, and students were engaged and enjoyed LOTS of time outside. The stopwatches were a big hit!”

Reflections
In week #2, students learned about the Albedo Effect, the amount of sunlight reflected by a surface. Despite the cold temperatures, students in all five grade levels got outside, made snow structures, and measured changed caused by the Albedo Effect.
