About the Downhill 24:
The WinterKids Downhill 24 is a 24-hour ski and ride challenge at Sugarloaf that supports WinterKids’ mission to get all Maine kids active outdoors in winter.
2026 Fundraising Goal: $820,000
Types of Teams Participating:
- Mixed Age Teams (40%)
- Youth Teams (20%)
- Corporate Teams (40%)
Teams hit the slopes day and night, raising funds to help children move, learn, and explore through joyful winter play.
It’s a celebration of community and the magic of Maine’s longest season!
