This event is hosted by the Yarmouth Ski Club and provides the Club’s financial support for Middle School and High School Alpine and Nordic Skiing teams and has been a huge driver of our success.
Join Starting Line Fitness Hub for their 4th Annual Turkey Trot Tune Up! Shake off those race cob webs before the Turkey Trot races come through later in the month and enjoy a lovely run around Portland, Maine's Back Cove (3.5mi)! There will also be a fun Turkey Dash, where kids (ages 2-9) will have turkey headbands and race 100m before the start of the Tune Up Race. 50% of the proceeds from this event will benefit WinterKids!
A film night for the kid inside of us who just can't wait for winter. Presented by WinterKids and the Maine Outdoor Film Festival, this special event features a curated lineup of independent winter adventure films from around the world, plus the WORLD PREMIERE of "For the Joy of Winter: 25 Years of WinterKids". Your event ticket includes a FREE lift ticket to Mt. Abram, so you can keep the winter magic going long after the credits roll.

This two-day sale will include second hand mountain bikes and fat tire bikes (youth and adult sizes), cross-country skis, boots, and poles for the whole family, and snowshoes in various sizes. The sale will take place in and outside of the Welcome Center at Midcoast Conservancy’s Hidden Valley.

The Downeast Ski Club Ski Sale and Winter Expo is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The doors open at 8:00 a.m., and the sale goes until 3:00 p.m. Admission is FREE! For many, standing in line waiting for the sale to open is a tradition, but with thousands of items, great deals can be found all day long!
In order to outfit families and make them ready to ski at the Pinnacle, the Pinnacle Ski Club sells used equipment for affordable prices. Much of this equipment has been donated, but is in great condition.
All proceeds from the sale help to provide an amazing winter experience for families at Pinnacle Park. Skis, ski boots, ski poles, helmets, Pinnacle merchandise, and a season membership can be purchased at the annual Pinnacle Ski Sale.
This exciting family day is happening in combination with MRC’s Celebration on Ice and the annual Skate with Santa!

This free event offers a chance to get outside and try new activities, including snowshoeing, Nordic and downhill skiing, snowboarding, snow sculpting, and more, while enjoying hot chocolate and s’mores.
Festivities include free skiing and snowshoeing all day; Nordic rental equipment and snowshoes available free of charge between 9 am and 4 pm; guided Nordic ski group lessons at 10 am and 1 pm; guided snowshoe walks at 11 am and 2 pm; kids' activities; and more!
