Week 2 of the WinterKids Winter Games carried on the excitement, with Maine students celebrating nutrition as the topic of the week’s competition. Most schools had snow to aid their fun as they learned and moved outdoors, competing for the $5,000 cash prize.

For this Moment of the Week, schools were tasked with capturing a Forced Perspective Picture, making little things look big and big things look little, and our winners this week from Miller Elementary did just that. 

1st place: Miller Elementary (Waldoboro, Maine)

Although our judges had to pick a single winner, ALL of these forced perspective photos are winners in our book!

COMPETITIVE TRACK LEADERBOARD AFTER WEEK 2

Congratulations to Miller Elementary for scoring this week’s coveted bonus point in a heated leaderboard! Several schools currently hover around the top rankings, but Willaims-Cone is still holding on to the top spot by a single point. 

Another 7,000 children are participating in the Play Along Track, a non-competitive edition of the Winter Games!
