This is a fun, movement-based extension activity for the Creating A Better Plate lesson – which can be found in the “Health” section of our WinterKids GOAL binder. Thank you to the wonderful team of teachers at Harrison Elementary School in Harrison, Maine who designed, implemented, and shared this activity!

Lesson Summary

After students have a lesson on GO, SLOW, WHOA foods, they will head outside to participate in a fun, food follow-up lesson using the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle.
